hi guys

i once saw prince ital joe and marky mark - also ACTIVATE were there too live in Hannover while i was working in Germany in 1994

unfortunately thats all i got to see at the time

i am now 34 yrs old and not really into going clubbing or watching live acts but at the time i loved it - i was in to hardcore so went some THUNDERDOME parties too

any of you guys seen any of the acts we now look back on and still love ??

If i could, i would add east europe as 4th center of eurodance along with sweden, germany and italy.
east european eurodance is easily recognizable and though sometimes not as much professional as f.e. german, it has real eurodance spirit not comparable with anything!

As you probably know, eurodance is usually half-officially divided into three branches, German, Swedish and Italian. The sound differs a lot depending on country and this is why some people prefer groups and singers from one country more than from others - german is more classic, swedish a bit more rough and italian is more melodic...

In your openion .... why do think eurodance is special among other similar music .... i mean music like dance, trance, techno, ..... What does that music genre have that other forms of music might not have? What makes you go search for a ED song 15 years old to play it & at the same time feel not interested in getting a dance hit, currently being played in several music channels?
