Basic Element... 2007

Well not a secret that last album has absolutely new sound... some like it, some not... here is the poll.

I think the second option will do here ..... 3 songs really got my attention ...

Well my attention is caught by bigger number, maybe because i like very different styles...
Here in Russia people who used to like Basic Element when they were eurodance mostly think that best song in album in Out Of This World. When the album wasn't ready yet there were rumors that it would be the first single from the album...

Actually, it doesn't matter if it is true or not.
I can just say that for me top 4 songs from the album are:
Out Of This World - this is how male vocals should sound to make me like it because I found voice of Charlie King... well... not especially beautiful, don't like it.
Raise The Gain - judging by Peter's unobtrusive hints, I'm afraid that this can be the last BE song with rap! Hope to be mistaken.
Devotion - well i dunno it just caught my ear...
Alive - because i like club music of this kind...

Many people like To You most of all but me - not... I like video much more that song haha

but .... "To You" has all what a dance floor needs .... amazing beat .... the singing is very catchy & it doesn't have the usual ED tunes that people somehow now got borred with ....

it's been a long time since i listened to songs from the album now ... cz actually i don't remember its location among my CDs .... i will try to look for the CD & then look through the songs you liked & if any of them took my attention, i will post that here ....

Well I have never been a big fan of Basic Element, but some songs I kinda liked were:

Entourage: Well this one is just a move to song, nice to move your body too .

Raise the Gain: Mostly cuz the rap part

Devotion: One of the few songs that reminde a bit of ED.

Out of this world: Remindes me of old Ed happy songs, nice beat this one I can actully say was very good.

Alive: Well this one was a bit diffrent from the rest of the songs, it is more a song that can get u pumped up, but not a song that can make u "happy" or possitve.

Entourage: Well this one is just a move to song, nice to move your body too .


Overall im not very found of the album, wasnt that "Woohhaaa" more like oki cool, I can listen to it if there aint anything better.
Mostly cuz I think that majority of the songs sound like some workout songs that u listen to in the gym, and they reminde me of Eric Prydz (((

beeeeh it's only about To You... actually i'm not fond of To You... just of Peter's short rap part... i don't like vocals here.

me too) just most people who liked the album prefer this song to other. i like the album very very much, even the club part, but i would never think that exactly To You would be loved by everyone...

Well I found the song Entourage very good, made my ED feelings bubble

to my mind it has nothing with ED) Out Of This World is closer. it is written before the rest i supppose by its sound.
